To order battery lead wires, electrical components (wiring harness and potentiometers for the handle) or control boards you must first know what system you have in your ClubRunner or MinnKota caddy. NOTE If ordering electrical components, please note the serial number of your electric golf caddy in the COMMENTS box of the order form. The serial number can be found on a sticker inside the battery compartment.

All MinnKota caddies (if it has not already had the control board replaced) have a 1 k ohm potentiometer (rheostat) in the handle. If you want a wiring harness for the handle you should order part K4005. All replacement control boards require a 10 k ohm potentiometer so if you need a new control board you will need to order a K4002 upgrade kit. This kit includes a new board, a new metal plate to put it on, a new wiring harness for the handle, and a new battery lead wire.

ClubRunner brand caddies can have either a 1 k ohm system or a 10k ohm system. Carts with a serial number greater than GC00142114 have a 10 K ohm system. The serial number can be found on a sticker inside the battery compartment. Another way to check which system you have is by the style of battery lead wire you have.

If you have the wire pictured below on the left (part K0602) you have a 1 k ohm system. The lead wire on the right is the K0604 and these carts have a 10 K ohm system. If you have the 10 K ohm system and need a new control board you only need to order the K4001 board. You will however have to rewire your handle and this will require some soldering.
