Batteries are cycle-tested at the factory to determine those most suitable for the application. Several battery manufacturers submit their batteries for evaluation. Of the many brands of batteries which are evaluated, the majority fail to meet our criteria for cycle life. Only those battery brands which pass our

rigorous standards are approved for us in Paradigm's product or for sales as aftermarket replacement. The chart on the right shows how the capacity of the battery declines as it is charged and discharged. For example, the yellow line at the bottom shows a battery which is close to failure after only 60 cycles.
